ommissions are accepted to create original, one-of-kind contemporary works of art.   These pieces will be exclusive, personalized creations, "specifically conceived, then skillfully hand-crafted"  for your home, office or private gallery.   My sole mission will be providing the highest quality and most comprehensive service possible to those special clientele in the market for this caliber of investment.    I will consult with you at the specified location (within a 150 mile radius of San Antonio, TX), or via videoconference to discuss your vision.   Your ideas, plans and goals for the space, as well as all aspects of the space itself will be taken into consideration.   This would include furnishings, wall coverings, window treatments, flooring, carpeting, existing art, etc.   I will offer suggestions, guidance and solutions to help make your vision of an original, one-of-kind work of art  —  again, “specifically designed and created for your personal space”  a reality.

Regarding the painting itself, we will discuss styles, media, materials, frame dimensions, location and installation.   Since this painting will adorn your home, office or gallery for many years to come, your involvement and input are crucial to the success of this commission!    If we determine that successful completion of the commission is achievable, I will provide a written estimate with an unsigned commissions agreement up-front for you to study.  
The estimate will be valid for 18 months.   There is absolutely no obligation to purchase and no down payment is required.

I will also project a date of completion.   And I will do my best to meet the date of completion.   However, please keep in mind that excellence — not speed, will be the guiding criteria in completion of this commission.   But I estimate that it would take about 90 days to complete your painting.  
This schedule can change though, depending upon the complexity of the piece.

The average pricing for a commissioned painting will be comparable to the price point estimates currently established for all other paintings on this site.   To get an idea of what a commissioned painting might cost, reference the Gallery  page and sales section of the Media / Sales page.   Your final price point will be determined by your specific and personalized requirements, as well as the time, materials and labor it takes to achieve those requirements.   But, as stated above, you will receive all of that information up-front — before the project is started.   This ensures that you will be able to make the most informed decision possible.

And of course, your total satisfaction with the final painting is fully guaranteed!   If the results do not exceed your expectations for any reason (even if you simply change your mind), I will retain the painting and you will owe nothing.   If the painting is accepted, we will each sign and date the final commissions agreement.
